Thank you for visiting the Hyundai Hope On Wheels website. In our work through Hyundai Hope on Wheels these past 14 years, we’ve had the privilege to visit children’s hospitals across the country and meet thousands of extraordinary children affected by cancer. Their stories remind us that this terrible disease robs too many kids of their childhoods. We need to find better treatments. We need to find a cure.

While much progress has been made over the last few decades – kids are now experiencing an 85 percent cure rate – cancer still takes more lives than any other childhood disease. During September 2011, in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, our goal was to shine a big spotlight on the fight against childhood cancer with a national awareness campaign, while also providing $7.1 million in “Hope Grants” for pediatric cancer research and support programs. This initiative, together with the other donations Hyundai and its dealers have made over the last 14 years, brought our total giving to more than $43 million. In 2012, Hyundai Hope On Wheels plans to expand its commitment to finding new treatments and cures for childhood cancer. While there is still much to do in this fight, we love taking on big challenges at Hyundai, and we can think of no challenge more worthy than this one.
