Gary Micallef is the owner of Hyundai of Everett and Skagit Valley Hyundai in Washington. He was born in San Francisco, California and started working in the car business in 1978 at a department store's automotive/tire center. In 1981 he went to work for a local Ford dealership, starting in the service department and, after several years, transitioned to sales. One year later he was a sales manager, and shortly after that became the general sales manager.

In 2001 Gary had the opportunity to purchase a Hyundai franchise in Everett, Washington and went for it – he’s never been sorry! Since then he’s opened another Hyundai store, Skagit Valley Hyundai.

Since 1998 Hyundai and its dealers have been able to do great things by donating millions of dollars towards finding a cure for pediatric cancer. But, Gary knows for certain that the job isn't done yet though and is just as sure that they will continue until it is!
