In September of 2011, Hyundai Hope On Wheels held its inaugural 5K Run/Walk in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Our goal was to host our own 5K Race where the entire community could come together to show their support for the cause.

We expanded our efforts and established a 5K Run/Walk Series with events in Irvine, CA, Chicago and Miami during September 2012 - Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. More than 1,000 runners raised $274,000 for pediatric cancer research across those three races. Because of that success, Hope On Wheels is expanding the events this year! The 2013 5K Series will feature many events throughout the United States.

• October 6 - Atlanta, GA: Allstate Life Insurance Atlanta 13.1 Marathon & Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5K
• October 26 - Dallas, TX: Allstate Life Insurance Dallas 13.1 Marathon & Hyundai Hope On Wheels 5K
