Hope on Wheels is currently in the process of selecting the 2012 National Youth Ambassador. Please check back to meet this year’s representative in early April.

Brianna, now age 14, served as the Hyundai Hope on Wheels National Youth Ambassador from 2010 - 2011. Brianna has been dedicated to fighting cancer ever since her diagnosis with stage IV Hodgkin’s lymphoma five years ago at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. For the past two years she lent her enthusiasm and spirit to the Hope on Wheels mission of raising awareness about the need for childhood cancer research as she spread the message of hope to children battling the disease.
In remission for several years now, Brianna is back to living the life of a normal 14-year-old, playing soccer, cheerleading, horseback riding, and going to the movies with her friends. Now that she can look back on her experience, she has her own words of wisdom to share with other children facing cancer.
“The first thing that anyone that is diagnosed with cancer should know is that you do have a long, hard road ahead of you – you will have good and bad days, but you should always remember that it will end, it will be over. Think of it as a journey and when it is over, you will be 100 percent well again. I called my treatment time my ’journey to wellness.’”
Hyundai and its dealers are very proud of the passion for helping others Brianna demonstrated in representing Hyundai Hope on Wheels as the National Youth Ambassador. Her hope, courage and determination continue to mirror the organization’s belief in reaching for the impossible. Together, Brianna, Hyundai and its dealers worked toward the goal of finding a cure for childhood cancer, and the 2012 National Youth Ambassador will have the opportunity to do the same.
