I’m Sawyer, I’m six and a half, and I’m from Millbrook, Alabama. I live there with my dad Steve, my mom Kristy, my two older sisters, Brixey (14) and Turner (12-1/2), and our golden retriever Huck. Millbrook is small but we have a park, and my friend Campbell lives here too.

My most favorite food is steak because it’s meat, it’s healthy (like milk) and it makes you strong. I love the movie “Hometown Legend” because it’s about football, and I love to play football. I’m a huge Auburn fan. Give me three wishes to come true and I’d ask to play football, have some money and see the Tooth Fairy!

If I could create my perfect day, it would be beautiful outside, and I would feel good. Some days I don’t feel so good because I have acute lymphocytic leukemia. We found out the day after Christmas 2002. But I’m on the 92nd week of 130 weeks of treatment. When I’m at the hospital, Ms. Meredith is one of my favorite nurse practitioners – even though she roots for Alabama. Go Tigers!
