If I could have three wishes, I would ask for a cure/prevention for all childhood cancers, world peace and world salvation. That’s not much, is it?! In 1997 I was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, but I’ve been off all chemo and medicines for five years, so I believe all those wishes could come true! Dr. Castleberry was my doctor and he was awesome – he made me and my parents feel so much better about my illness.
Millbrook, Alabama, is the small town where I live with my parents Melanie and Will. My dad works for the state and my mom is a part-time pharmacy technician. I also have a ten-year-old sister Ashley. We fight sometimes, but mostly we are pretty nice to each other. Our Boston terrier is named Buckwheat and is named after the character on the show “The Little Rascals.”
My perfect day would be sunny, we would have no school and I’d be free to just act like a kid. I’d probably also dance because that’s something I love to do – it eases my mind and lets me express myself. I like to read a lot, also. The Bible is my favorite book and Treecastle Island is my second favorite because it’s an adventure tale. I also like romantic stories so I never miss the “The Princess Diaries” on TV.
