I hope someday that there is a cure for children’s cancer so that no one ever has to be sick like me. I was just diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphoblastic leukemia) in March, but I’ll be done with my treatment by the end of this year (2004). Dr. Rheingold and Nurse Jen are so friendly – I am glad they are there to help me. When I am feeling good, I love to play with my brothers, Sam and Peter. We get along great. We also have a little sister, Isabelle. She’s four. My mom Megan stays home to take care of us, and my dad Peter is a banker. We have a dog named Chester, too. I like to study English and math in school, and watch the Power Rangers on TV. My favorite book is Legends of Ga’Hoole – it’s a fantasy story. If I could do anything or be anywhere I wanted, I would hang out with my family on the lake in Maine. That would be a great day!
