Joseph, 17, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma of the bone at age 15 and was treated at Albany Medical Center: The Children's Hospital and has been in remission since August 2007. He is the youngest of three siblings, including Ryan, 23 and Mackenzie, 19. Joseph enjoys video games, playing tennis, basketball, golf and hanging out with his friends. As a result of his experience with cancer, he learned the importance of giving back and helping others in need. Joseph’s words of wisdom to other children battling the disease are “never give up hope.”
