Kathy was diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma in January 2006. She is a 5 year old who loves the Disney Princesses. Kathy is a patient at Duke University Medical Center and started chemotherapy in January. On May 25, 2006, Kathy's tumor was successfully removed. During a MIBG scan in June, which was in preparation for her bone marrow transplant, three more tumors were found. Kathy's bone marrow transplant was put on hold to start her high-dose chemotherapy. If all goes well, she will start the bone marrow transplant in a few months.
