Hello, my name is Kristen. I’m six years old and I’m in kindergarten. If you came over to my house, you would see that I love animals! We have Cuddles who is a white rabbit, Nikki, who is a black Labrador, and Fred, who is a goldfish. My favorite book is At the Zoo. It’s a National Geographic Action Book about all different zoo animals. All of us live in Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, with my mommy and daddy, George and Aileen. My daddy makes the best hamburgers and cheeseburgers for me on the grill! They taste extra-good because he puts lots of TLC in them. I also have a cousin named Anthony, and we play together and do lots of different games and activities. He makes me feel special! Almost two years ago, I had to go to the hospital and have emergency brain surgery. They found out I had PNET medulloblastoma, which is a brain tumor. But my surgery went really well. I do maintenance chemotherapy and have two more cycles before I’m finished in February 2005. Dr. Jane and all my nurses are helping me and making me better! If I could have any wishes come true, I would wish for lots of toys, a thousand dollars and my own garden where I could grow lots of different foods. I would also stay home and play every day with Mommy and Daddy!
