Samantha, 16, was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma at age 13 and was treated at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She has a younger sister, Margaret, who is 12. Samantha enjoys acting, theater and drama, scrapbooking and Mexican food. She is excited to be a Hope on Wheels youth ambassador to honor the young lives that have been brought to an early end by pediatric cancer. Samantha tries to live her life by a famous Carl Bard quote, “though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start now and make a brand new ending.”
