During September, 2010, Hyundai Motor America and its dealers donated $6.8 million to Hope on Wheels, which will distribute the funds in the form of “Hope Grants” in the amount of $100,000 each to hospitals and other nonprofit organizations around the country that conduct childhood cancer research and/or provide support to children with cancer.

Children's National Medical Center On Wednesday September 1, the Hyundai Gives Hope on Wheels September Initiative conducted its first Hope Grant award presentation at Children’s National Medical Center. Inova Hospital September 1 was a busy day for Hope on Wheels! After visiting Children's National Medical Center we proceeded to Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children to present another Hope Grant.		Georgetown University Hospital Department of Pediatrics Our stop at Georgetown was a great success! The Hope Grant will go to many areas of research as well as palliative care.
Sinai Hospital of Baltimore We had a great time at Sinai Hospital on September 2. The Hope Grant funded research at the hospital will be led by Dr. Joseph Wiley, Chairman of The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital.		Johns Hopkins The Hope Grant will fund research at Johns Hopkins University Hospital conducted by Ido Paz-Priel, M.D., Assistant Professor of Oncology.

Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund - New York City On September 7, the Hyundai Gives Hope September Initiative was excited to present a Hope Grant to the Hope & Heroes Chlidren's Cancer Fund. Cincinnati Children's Hospital The second Hope Grant event on September 22 was at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where Hope on Wheels presented the $100,000 donation in support of research being done at the hospital into new potential therapies for fighting childhood cancer.
