The Hyundai Hope on Wheels Scholar Tour began in 2006 and is an effort to create awareness for the children and families battling the disease. The Tour commemorates the brave battles of children fighting cancer and recognizes the institutions and professionals who care for them. Each year the Tour visits children’s hospitals across the U.S. to donate funds and raise awareness for childhood cancer research. The 2012 Hyundai Hope on Wheels Scholars Tour will officially launch at the New York International Auto Show on April 5, 2012. Please check back for 2012 tour videos.

To support National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month during September Hyundai Hope on Wheels awards grants to pediatric cancer research projects and programs at Children’s Oncology Group (COG) institutions across the country.

Hope on Wheels will officially launch its 3rd Annual September Hope Grant initiative to support pediatric cancer research aimed at finding cures for pediatric cancer.

Through these two programs, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has pledged to donate $12.0 million in research grants nationwide to continue the fight against childhood cancer.

UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital To kick off this years' National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the first donation, in the form of a $100,000 Hope Grant, was received on September 1 by UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.		Levine Children's Hospital Hope on Wheels visted Levine Children's Hospital in North Carolina to give them a Hope Grant to help fund pediatric cancer research.
Children's Hospital and Research Center Oakland Hyundai Hope on Wheels was excited to visit Children's Hopsital and Research Center in Oakland, California this September to provide them with a Hope Grant.		UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center greeted Hyundai Hope on Wheels as we gave them a Hope Grant to help fund childhood cancer research.
Duke University Medical Center North Carolina's Duke University Medical Center was a great place to visit and we loved being able to give them a Hope Grant!		Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford We visited Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford to present them with a Hope Grant. They are thrilled to have the funding for childhood cancer research.

University of Arizona Health Sciences Center The University of Arizona Health Sciences Center got a visit from us as we presented them with a Hope Grant to aid in their pediatric cancer research.		Phoenix Children's Hospital We visited the Phoenix Children's Hospital today to present them with a Hope Grant to help fight childhood cancer.

Hyundai Hope on Wheels 5K Race/Walk The inaugural Hyundai Hope on Wheels 5K Race & Walk on Sept. 5 brought together nearly 1,000 participants to benefit the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's. DuPont Hospital for Children The Hope Grant awarded to Dr. Christopher Frantz of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children will help produce educational videos for children ages 2-8 who have been diagnosed with cancer.		Dana Farber Cancer Institute Jimmy Fund Walk The Hope Grant for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute was presented during a ceremony in Boston's Copley Square following the annual Jimmy Fund Walk.
