National Youth Ambassadors

Our Youth ambassadors are a shining force of resiliency and positivity in our community. With the courage to have overcome childhood cancer, these two children invite us all to embrace Hope for brighter days ahead!

Jackson

NEW MEXICO

Hi! My name is Jackson, and I’m 11 from Albuquerque. When I was 7 years old, I started having leg pain and fevers, which led to my diagnosis of B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I underwent over two years of treatment, including chemotherapy, and faced many challenges like missing school and sports. Now, I’m in remission and excited to be a Hyundai Hope on Wheels National Youth Ambassador. I want to inspire other kids fighting cancer to celebrate small victories, stay hopeful, and remember that even in tough times, there’s always something to smile about!

Isabella

GEORGIA

Hi! I’m Isabella Franco-Capps. I’m 10 years old and live in Bogart, GA. When I was 5 years old, I was getting sick a lot and after lots of tests was admitted to Arthur M Blank Children’s Hospital in Atlanta where I was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After two years of treatment, I’ve been in remission since 2023. I’m excited to be a Hyundai Hope on Wheels Ambassador so that I can remind other kids going through what I did that even on the hardest days, you are stronger than you think. So everyone should always have hope and keep reaching for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. To me, that pot of gold is being cancer-free.
